Series Overview:
The 8AC series is B&R's function expansion module line for ACOPOS servo drives. These plug-in modules install into dedicated slots (Slot 1–4) inside ACOPOS drives, adding capabilities such as POWERLINK/CAN communication, various encoder interfaces, digital/analog I/O, and even independent CPU functionality. They are essential components for building high-performance motion control systems in packaging, printing, plastics, robotics, and other industries requiring precision servo control.
